The Way of Cain

The LORD has given us examples in things past that enlighten us in the present and is wisdom for the future. God has declared that ‘there is no new thing under the sun’- Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. To the discerning eye and heart the end can be seen in the things from the beginning - Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Jesus spoke of the ‘beginning of sorrows’ Matthew 24:8 - All these are the beginning of sorrows. and Paul of ‘perilous times’ - II Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. Indeed they shall come and are even now upon us. We know that humanism, atheism, transhumanism, Islamism, Buddism, and Hinduism (beware of the ‘isms’) are the enemies of the cross, but we are now in a time when even so called Christians are the enemies of the cross. Have we not been told of this? 1John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

In these last days there will be two manifestations of the church. The ‘True Church’ made of blood bought born again believers built upon obedience to the word of God (YHVH, Jesus the Christ) and spiritual sacrifices - 1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. The other church is the visible church made of brick and mortar who are either luke warm or whose heart is far from God and do the works of Satan. Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Isaiah 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men: Revelation 3:15-16 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

There is the True church obedient to Gods Way and Word (Able) and there is the false church infiltrated by Satan whose hearts are far from God (Cain). Woe to them who have gone in the way of Cain.

The way of Cain and all those that follow in his way, is the way of Natural Religion, NOT THE WAY GOD HAD APPOINTED. Natural Religion is a religion based on reason and ordinary experience rather than supernatural revelation.

The time is near when the false church with the character of Cain and spirit of anti-christ will persecute the true church as will the other false religions. It will be the religious (Cain) vs the remnant (Able). The religious serve their on self-will and have forsaken the Word of God, they do what seemeth right in their own eyes and follow not the ways of God. To the religious they True Church will become their enemy because they do not want to be confronted with truth which is the Word of God.

They are content to walk in darkness claiming to have fellowship with Christ when there is none.

to do Christ’s work when they are in fact the enemies of the cross. Matthew 7:20-23 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 1John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

There is no new thing under the sun and God has declared the end from the beginning. As unrighteous Cain rose up and slew his righteous brother so will the false church rise up against the true church. However we have nothing to fear for God is on our side and He is faithful, His counsel will stand and He shall do His pleasure.

2Corinthians 4:7-11

7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
